"Urgh. I shouldn't have tried to fly that far.... I'm exhausted."

She found the strength to lift her head to see what was lying in front of her, in case a house was nearby. No habitation was in sight. She let her head fall in defeat.

"I'm... lost and tired. Great. Why I left by myself this time? Stupid. Stupid. Stup- Huh?"

Something caught the attention of her sense of smell. Smoke. Where there's smoke, there are houses. Or forest fire. Knowing the odds, the new hope made her regain some energy and she stood up to check around. A small house at her left was barely visible from her point of view. It seemed like a cottage but a bit smaller than Fluttershy's. The purple princess couldn't hold a smile to the possible dinner and warm bed for tonight. She knew she couldn't possibly sleep outside like camping with the surrounding filled with beasts who just await a pony to made the mistake to stay there. The simple thought made her wince. She didn't have her camping guide anyway. Even less her camping gear.

"Guess, I have no choice but to teleport myself there."

She took a deep breath and concentrated to cast her spell. A second later, she reappeared still a hundred feet from the front door. Collapsing for the effort, she was panting and took a look at the house who was surprisingly made of stones with a wooden roof. The tired princess, took a stone nearby with her remaining strength with her magic and threw it at the front door before closing her eyes. It sounded like metallic. A pony opened the door, checking for the provenance of the bang. She looked around.

"Nopony? I'm not that crazy, I heard a ba-"

She found the stone at her front hooves.

"Somepony threw that stone. But who?"

She took a couple of step, examining more the surrounding. It was dusk and the lack of light didn't help.

"Hmm. Nopony's there... Strange..."

Twilight reopened her eyes to see the mare who was looking for somepony. But she soon turned head and tail and was going back inside. Realizing it, the purple mare used her last resort of magic to make her horn glow very bright and raise her voice.

"O-OVER HERE!"

The home owner startled.

"What was that? Who's there"

Twilight fainted, relieved to knowing that she saw her. The mare ran in the direction of the mysterious light and voice. She found a purple pony there.

"Uh... h-hello? Are you alright, miss.... Oh my gosh! She is a... What should I do? What should I-"

A growl was audible from the distant. The voice gasped.

"No time for question. I better get her inside. Her sound and light show must have took their attention."

She quickly put her on her back and brought her the house. Suddenly a timberwolf ran into their direction.

"Ahh! Oh no! Oh no!"

The mare galloped toward the front door, her unknown unconscious visitor riding on her back. She quickly got inside, closed the heavy door and put the lock. The beast crashed on the door. The yellow mare panted and tried to take her breath.

"I... I don't know why you were here now, but... You better have a good explanation to tell me later."

She put the purple mare on her couch, before going into the kitchen to prepare some tea.

Wonderful work there.
